Biodiesel is a carbon-neutral fuel (meaning it's not adding additional carbon into the atmosphere, the way fossil fuels like petroleum do). Biodiesel made from waste vegetable oil collected from area restaurants, like the biodiesel that Cowichan Bio-Diesel Co-op provides, is even better! Instead of using virgin crops to make fuel, we're using a waste-product and recycling it into a clean green local energy source!

*We are piloting automated payment options using Paypal for member convenience. Paypal charges a 3.2% fee for all transactions, which is reflected in the prices below and in the biodiesel purchase prices online. Biodiesel is $1.50 per liter, purchasing online is be $1.55 per liter. You can pay using Paypal at any time, or come to the Cowichan Bio-Diesel Co-op office during normal business hours, located at # 2-55 Station Street in Duncan Monday to Friday between 10:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., to avoid the additional fees.
